I used to be somewhat self- conscious about my body, not because I was ashamed, but because society TOLD me I should be ashamed. I used to think if someone was looking at me while I was in public, it was because I was doing something wrong, but now I know it’s probably because they like what they see. This year I have stopped treating my body as an object, and began treating it as a subject; it has made life so much easier. :)
